Job Description

We are seeking several qualified professionals to join our firm. Typical projects include floating structures, marinas, resorts and shoreline stabilization projects. We specialize in cutting edge technology and application of intelligent solutions to traditional problems.

We are looking to fill several positions within our firm including Civil Engineer, Mechanical Engineer and Naval Architect/Coastal Engineer. Candidate should have core experience in at least one of the following disciplines: general civil engineering (grading, hydrology, hydraulics and general site development), mechanical engineering (hydrology, hydraulics, culvert design and piping design for potable and fire water systems), naval architecture or ocean/coastal engineering (determination of wave and current conditions, analysis of related dynamic and static forces and application of these forces to floating and fixed structures).

The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day project production and management. Projects are focused in the construction and/or rehabilitation of marinas, resorts and site development projects. Projects are challenging and include preparation of conceptual site layouts, presentation and design drawings and compilation of construction specifications.

Design work includes preparation of illustrations, drawings, construction details and producing AutoCAD technical drawings. Candidate will be responsible for preparation of calculations necessary to develop design details.

Candidate must have desire and some experience in performing project management duties including, tracking project contracts, workload assignments, status reports and time management. Candidate must also be able to delegate assignments, monitor task completion and train other team members.

Qualifications:
• PE registration or ability to obtain within 2 years
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Computer expertise with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and others
• Project Management expertise a plus
• Computer modeling experience a plus
