Design Group was selected by the City to develop reconfiguration
alternatives and associatedcost estimates for the rehabilitation
of the City’s 1,800-slip marina located in Downtown Long Beach.
Work consisted of preparing base
maps, layout alternatives and cost estimates for the proposed rehabilitation
work. Improvements to the marina include conversion from double-
to single-loaded slips and provisions to accommodate Americans with
Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.
BDG was then tasked to prepare
the design – build contract documents for the resulting reconfiguration
and reconstruction of the marina facilities. |
