The Pines Resort Marina, Bass Lake, California

BLUEWater Design Group prepared the design/build documents for the Phase I construction of the overall marina redevelopment masterplan. The construction project included installation of a new mainwalk, 28 fingers, new technology (SEAFLEX) anchoring system, fuel dock and complete utilities. The construction was completed in June 2002, within seven weeks, while maintaining the marina and commercial operations.

BLUEWater Design Group provided all onsite inspections and construction engineering support. BDG is currently preparing the construction contract documents for the Phase II marina improvements scheduled for the second quarter of 2003. Phase II construction will replace a second dock consisting of a mainwalk and more than 30 slips, complete with utilities and SEAFLEX anchoring systems. This will be the last ‘maintenance’ replacement leading to the reconstruction of the remainder of the marina basin and installation of a floating wave attenuator scheduled for 2004.
